Human Sexuality and the Nuptial Mystery
April 20th to 22nd there will be a conference here in Winnipeg that promises to be very worthwhile, under the title Human Sexuality and the Nuptial Mystery. Oliver O'Donovan will be here, as will Ephraim Radner, two of the finer minds writing in the Anglican theological tradition. Papers will be presented by local theologians and biblical scholars, such as Chris Holmes, Roy Jeal, Gary Thorne, Tim Perry, and Jane Barter Moulaison. Bishop Victoria Matthews will speak as well. Check the schedule here. (You may see one familiar name in there, preaching on the 22nd.)
This conference shows great promise, and is intended to be an opportunity to reflect theologically, and deeply theologically, on one of the most pressing doctrinal, liturgical, and ecclesiological issues of the Anglican Communion at present. If you are nearby, or far away, it will be worth the trip.
