Here Safely
I made it here safely. Karen and Len are still on their way.
Just to underscore the identity conflict, the Oakland A's are playing the Toronto Blue Jays on TSN.
I'm wondering who should I be cheering for. Am I a Canadian? Then Jays, of course. But my heart for baseball burned most brightly in the East Bay, making the A's a natural choice.
Maybe I'll just cheer for whoever is winning.
In that case, go A's!

Well, honestly, I don't have a preference between the Jays and the A's. However, I hope you'll follow the Argos instead of the Raiders.
If that sounds strange for someone south of the border, you need to know that I've been interested in the CFL since Conderedge Holloway graduated from the University of Tennessee and couldn't get considered by the NFL. I grew up in Knoxville, and attended the University, and Holloway was the football hero of his day and of mine. While he was quarterbacking the football team I was playing in the stands in the Pride of the Southland band.
Later, when I working in a hospital in Detroit, I followed the CFL on CBC. I followed the Argos then, too.
glad you arrived safe and sound... Bet the cats were glad to see you :-)
Welcome here!
Welcome to sunny (and now cool) Winnipeg. We have our own baseball team here, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, affectionatly known as "The Fish".
Currently they are trying to knock Fargo ND out of contention.
See you Sunday :-)
